Alice Sykes
Alice Sykes is an actor, voiceover artist and teacher with a deep love for the Meisner technique and its ability to create truthful, instinctive work. Her teaching is rooted in working organically — encouraging actors to trust their impulses, respond honestly, and stay fully present in the moment.
After training under Robyn Paterson at The London Meisner Company, she is now a coach for the company. This class brings a personal approach to make sure each student isn’t rushing the technique but progressing organically. Known for her energetic and supportive approach, Alice creates a space where actors can take risks, play freely, and build real connection in their work.
Alice began working professionally at the age of 13 and has since built a career across television, film, and voiceover, alongside her stage work. Performing in Alan Ayckbourn’s ‘A Small Family Business’ on the Olivier stage at the National Theatre, and performing at the Donmar Warehouse directed by Jamie Lloyd, in Mark Haddon’s play, ‘Polar Bears’. With guest lead roles in Call The Midwife, Silent Witness and Mad Dogs. Along with leading roles in BBC’s prestigious productions like comedy ‘Cradle to Grave’ and drama ‘Criminal Justice’.
Alongside her acting career, Alice coaches actors one-to-one and runs workshops supporting those preparing for drama school and taking their first steps into the industry.
She brings her professional experience and passion for the Meisner technique into every class, helping actors to develop confidence, authenticity, and a strong foundation in their craft.
